Vishal is a docpreneur, an adventure seeker & an ideator. His teenage interest in medicine led him to become the first doctor in his family. However, as he entered clinical practice, his interest went beyond clinical; focusing on bringing change in systems & policy approach in healthcare. He worked in various healthcare settings & roles for a few years, before deciding to enhance his skill set through a global healthcare MBA from Vanderbilt University, USA. Turning entrepreneur after finishing his MBA, Vishal worked on developing a clinical decision support system through design algorithms for access latest clinical research & innovation into monetization model for the same.

Vishal was also a founding member of the GSF Accelerator program in its first batch & followed it by a brief stint in Public Healthcare Consulting, working on projects with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Bank & several state governments in India. Vishal passion for healthcare entrepreneurship has brought him back to lead HealthStart as its CEO.

Amit Sharma

Amit Sharma is currently the General Manager-Management Consulting at HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd., South Asia and the Middle East's largest healthcare consulting and projects firm. Prior to this, Amit was the Head of Business Development at HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd., a Senior Investment Associate with Impact Investment Partners LLP's, a pharmaceutical logistics entrepreneur, and he started his career as an Analyst at the global private equity firm, Warburg Pincus LLC. Amit completed his BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and his MSc from Carnegie Mellon University.

Asish Mohapatra

Asish Mohapatra is a Director in Matrix India and leads the healthcare investments ofMatrix Partners India, an investment firm with Rs. 3000 cr under management in India (globally over US$ 3 bn). MatrixPartners India also invests across sectors like Financial Services, Education, Technology and Consumer.His investments have been in single specialty providers like Centre for Sight (eye care), Cloudnine (maternity and infant care), Mewar Ortho (orthopedic care), Enhance (cosmetology),Meditrina (interventional cardiology) and TechMed (in-hospital path management). Prior to his current stint, Asish was an Engagement Manager in Mckinsey& Co's India healthcare practice. There, he served severalpharmacos, providers, donors and support service providers. Aditi Shrivastava

Aditi Shrivastava, Head, Intellecap Impact Investment Network:

Aditi heads the Intellecap Impact Investment Network, which is India's first angel network looking to invest in for-profit businesses dedicated to creating a positive social or environmental impact. Aditi engages with HNIs, family offices and funds to bring them the most scalable and impactful young enterprises for mentoring and investment. She works closely with entrepreneurs, advising them on their investment approaches, business models and pitches.

Prior to joining Intellecap in 2011, Aditi spent over 5 years at Goldman Sachs in New York, specializing in quantitative equity research, trading and portfolio management. She also served as a board member on American India Foundation's young professional's board where she discovered a passion for the development space.

Aditi graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and is a CFA (USA) charter holder.

Dheeraj Batra

Dheeraj Batra is a serial entrepreneur having launched multiple organizations including Arogya Finance, a disruptive healthcare lending venture. He was formerly a Business Designer at IDEO and a business builder at Innosight Ventures. He has a passion for helping new ideas take shape and believes that a human-centered approach has the potential to help unlock tremendous value.

Dheeraj holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School and BS degrees in both Finance and Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

Dr Matt Jameson Evans

Matt Jameson Evans is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of HealthUnlocked. He is a former orthopaedic surgeon in the UK now focused full-time on HealthUnlocked.

Matt co-founded HealthUnlocked with Jorge Armanet, a technology entrepreneur based out of Cambridge University. HealthUnlocked launched in 2010 and is now the largest global social network for patients, advocates, and providers such as the NHS. Over three million patients visit HealthUnlocked every month and it launched in Spain and Latin America in August 2013. Over 500 health organisations across the world now use the platform to connect patients to other, similar patients (mostly with chronic diseases).

In 2006 he founded RemedyUK, a high-profile doctors pressure group, raising a support base of 15,000 UK doctors, organizing an online network, media campaigns and twice taking the UK government to court.

Rajib Ghosh has always been in startup environments. Sharda earlier has worked with large Indian conglomerates and MNCs as their inhouse attorney on various projects including IPO, cross border transactions, M & A, takeover, mergers, intellectual property for more than 12 years.

During Sharda's earlier employment with Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd., she was responsible for South Asia operations and in Puravanakara Projects raised about Rs. 900 crores through IPO. Her stint with Manipal Group was in a range of businesses like education, healthcare, lifestyle and consumer goods, brand valuations, real estate and more.

Sharda has special interests in women businesses and chairs TIE's Special Interest Group for Women Entrepreneurs.. She is the India trustee for Baalemane a loving home for orphan girls.

Suhail Chander

Suhail Chander qualified as a Chartered Accountant and started his career at the ANZ Banking Group in India as a Management Trainee in 1983. After holding a variety of positions mainly in the Corporate Banking and Trade Finance area, Suhail moved to ABN AMRO in 1990 to Head Corporate Banking at New Delhi. He subsequently moved to Chennai to set-up the Banks operations there.

After creating two successful franchises in India Suhail moved to ABN AMRO Indonesia and spent 7 years there in various capacities including Corporate Banking, Risk Management, Recoveries and Consumer Banking. In 2006, he was given the responsibility to run ABN AMRO's Consumer Banking business in Singapore and Malaysia.

Suhail Moved to Indusind Bank in February 2008. An accomplished banker with an outstanding record of achievements in areas such as Strategic Planning, Corporate and SME Banking, Financial Institutions, Risk & Recoveries, Wealth Management, Retail Distribution and Credit Cards. Suhail, now leads Indusind Banks Corporate and Commercial Banking Business. A part of the Core Management Team he has direct responsibility for Corporate and Institutional Banking, Investment Banking, Financial Institutions, Small and Medium Enterprises and Corporate Liabilities.

Vamesh Chovatia

Vamesh Chovatia joined the NEA team in June 2011 as Managing Director of New Enterprise Associates (India) Pvt. Ltd. (NEA India) based in Mumbai. Vamesh brings with him a total of over 22 years of experience in Private Equity Investing, Private Equity Advisory and Investment Banking. Prior to joining NEA, he was Director- Private Equity at Kotak Investment Advisors Limited since 2005. He has experience of investing across stages and diverse sectors viz. Retailing, Power Infra, Diversified services, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences.
